Your child is about to start their nursery school journey, Choosing which nursery for your child is an incredibly important decision. There are many areas to consider and compare when making the decision, one of these is the size of the classes.
At Cranford we keep our class sizes small. The fewer pupils there are in a class, the more time and attention the teacher can give to each individual child keeping them fully engaged. This is not so easy in larger classes as any specific weaknesses or lack of confidence can go unnoticed for a longer period. Research has been carried out that links smaller class sizes to achieving greater results.
The more children in a class, the noisier it becomes. At Cranford we have small groups in individual class rooms which promotes a calm environment. This allows children to bond and develop friendships and have their own community built on positive relationships.
Our small class sizes allow our teachers to teach, they have the time to develop a creative and stimulating curriculum meeting the learning needs of each individual child whilst promoting positive health and positive behaviour.
Cranford has a large outdoor garden which is used as our outside classroom, so no matter what the weather the children have lots of outdoor play. We are a stroll away from Nobles Park, the beach, local schools and elderly care homes. We enjoy nature walks & trips to the swings, visiting the schools and singing sessions with elderly residents.
We have weekly Yoga and Exercise classes with a fully qualified fitness instructor.
We have weekly Music, Singing and Movement classes with a qualified music teacher.
We provide wrap around care for parents.
